This Is It, Don’t Get Scared Now
Hello and welcome to Epic Financial Journey; we are your friendly neighborhood personal finance blog. As you can probably see we are the new kids on the block, hoping to establish ourselves in the personal finance/financial independence community.
Similar to meeting strangers in real life, we bet you’re wondering: “Who are you?”, “What are you doing here?”, and “What are your goals?”
To answer those questions:
- We are just a couple of long-time friends from the Pacific Northwest who have an affinity for all-things personal finance, specifically Financial Independence. You can learn About Us, even More About Us, and view our Mission Statement.
- We are here to provide an online platform for getting our thoughts out into the world, with hopes that we can share our experiences and knowledge with others. We are launching this website in Summer 2024 and of course have no idea where this will take us, which is slightly scary but also part of the fun.
- Our goal is to help others on their personal journeys to financial independence – whether this is as a friend/confidant or someone to learn from. We also hope to build a community where we can all gather, talk about money, and learn from each other.
We’ll see where all of this goes and where we end up in the future – hopefully we can look back on this first post in 5 or 10 years from now and reminisce about how naive and clueless we once were. But whatever does happen, we hope that you join us in our community while letting us join you on your Epic Financial Journey.
